Berger&Berger live and work in Paris.

Laurent P. Berger, visual artist and Cyrille Berger, architect, have been collaborating since 2006 under the name Berger&Berger. They develop work in multiple fields, considering the disciplines of visual arts, design, scenography and architecture as related, specific and partially different; contributing to a rich and contradictory construction of the real, stage, landscaped or museum space.

In 1999-2000, Laurent P. Berger was awarded an Académie de France scholarship to Rome and was resident at Villa Médici. He has participatedn in numerous exhibitions, including at the Whitney Museum Biennial in New York, at the Museo Alejandro Otero in Caracas, at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico, at the MACBA in Barcelona, at the Museu Berardo in Lisbon, at the International Biennial from Marrakech, at the Fellbach Triennial, at the Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo in Madrid, at the Basque Museum Center of Contemporary Art, at the Pera Museum in Istanbul or at the Museum of Contemporary Arts at Grand-Hornu. At the same time, he intervenes in the field of performance, in theater, opera and dance, creating scenographies and lights for projects presented in Europe, America and Asia.

Cyrille Berger is winner of the New Albums of Young Architects and Landscapers (NAJAP 2007-2008), prize awarded by the French Ministry of Culture.

They show their work in numerous exhibitions, notably at the Draiflessen Collection in Mettingen, at the International Center for Art and Landscape on Vassivière, at the Contemporary Art Center in Parc Saint Léger, at the Contemporary Art Center in Mouans-Sartoux, at the Frac Haute-Normandie in Rouen, at MUDAM in Luxembourg or in the Tuileries Gardens, at the CentQuatre and at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Personal exhibitions are dedicated to their work at the Fondazione Pastificio Cerere in Rome, at the New National Museum of Monaco or in the Oscar Jespers Studio in Brussels.

In 2010 Berger&Berger was one of the international teams selected by Kazuyo Sejima (SANAA) for the 12th Venice Architecture Biennale. In 2017, they are invited by the curator Emma Lavigne to take part in the 14th biennale of Lyon.

They participate in numerous national and international architectural competitions. In 2012, they delivered Notus Loci, the extension of the International Center for Art and Landscape on the island of Vassivière, in 2015 the Extension of the Lambert Collection museum in Avignon, in 2016 the requalification of the public space of the National Dance Centre in Pantin.

They are laureates in 2019 of the competition for the creation of The Institute for Photography in Lille which they will deliver in 2023.

Their work is present in various public collections including that of the French National Center for Visual Arts, that of the National Library of France, that of the National Museum of Modern Art - Center Pompidou, that of the Mudam, Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg, that of Frac Rouen, that of Frac Marseille and that of the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco.
